SponsorHunter has officially launched in Alpha

This weekend SponsorHunter has officially launched in Alpha. This means that the site will be available to the general public to use with many updates and changes going on in the background. The forums is still in its early form, but feel free to use it and suggest any site adjustments or any other recommendations you may have.

What is SponsorHunter?

SponsorHunter is the one stop shop for your Sponsor search. Currently, SponsorHunter is focused on the gaming community, but with plans to expand as time goes on. It does not matter if you are a professional gamer or an up-and-coming gamer, SponsorHunter will provide a list of sponsors for your channel. No matter how you show your content, live broadcast or cut and edit, there is always a sponsor out there for you.

How does SponsorHunter work?

SponsorHunter has a very simple concept. We list and categorize sponsorship type by product. You can check out the current list under the List page. From this page you find the type of product you wish to be sponsored with. Looking for a gaming controller sponsorship? On the List page find Gaming Controllers and go to the next page. This next page will list all of the companies that have sponsorships for gaming controllers. Find the company that interests you the most and follow the link on their profile page. This link will direct you to the form to sign up for a sponsorship on that company's website. Each form will look different as each form is unique to that company. Submit the form and wait for the company to get back to you!

There are multiple types of Sponsorships that SponsorHunter will list. The two most common types you will come across are Professional and Affiliate. Professional Sponsorships usually require the person to have a large following and to be in tournaments. The Affiliate Sponsorships more commonly just require the person applying to know how sell their products. Each sponsorship type is a little different and it is recommended that you only apply to the ones that fit you best.
